REFLECTION ON LINE AND SHAPE:
The locations I chose for most of my photos were at my cape house by the docks and NYC. The flower picture #1 was taken right near the marina by the boats. I decided I would get a close up on the photo and try to really focus on the center of the flower in order to see all the details it shows. The distance from the shot was close up and the point of view on the flower photograph was straight on. My photographs were a mix of both horizontal and vertical. The flower, boats, dock, and the wheels are all vertical. The picture of the jeep and NYC are horizontal. I considered the rule of thirds in the flower shot in order to really focus on all the dimensions of the photo. This way I was able to grasp everything. The picture that I think attracts the viewers eye the most would be the flower picture. The reason why I believe that is because i felt that the flower one was the best to me and i felt really drawn into all th details and different aspects of the flower.
PATTERN & TEXTURE COLOR AND GRAYSCALE DODGE & BURN
REFLECTION ON PATTERN AND TEXTURE:
In this assignment, we had to focus on pattern and texture. My favorite photo that I took out of these six had to have been the pine tree or "evergreen." When I took the picture of the pine tree, I took the picture close up this way I was able to really get the details of the tree and be able to see different aspects of it. When I took this shot I did it straight on but horizontally because i wanted to get a nice frame of the tree. In this photo I personally don't think it follows the rule- of-thirds because the picture is more off to the side rather than in the center. The close repetition of the thin lines is able to create texture throughout the photograph. I personally think that the image of the wood is overexposed not all areas of the image have a perfect white-black grayscale the image is all over the place. The image of the flowers is underexposed because it looks really dark and you are unable to see different areas of white it looks mostly gray rather than evenly exposed. Lastly, the image of the "evergreen," is perfectly exposed because you are able to see all the colors come together and it doesn't look to dark or to light it looks just perfect.

PLAYGROUNDS AND POWERLINES
REFLECTION ON POWER LINES AND PLAYGROUNDS
The second to last power line photo best demonstrates the rule of thirds for the most part it is in the center and you are able to see how evenly each part of the picture is cut. The top left picture of the playground is take from a far which demonstrates a consideration of distance. You are able to see an overview of the playground as a whole and the different aspects of the playground. The swings in my opinion show the best idea of positive and negative shapes. You are able to see how the swings are up close and then the school buildng in the background. The area around the swings shows negative shape around the swing and the poles in the back if you were to race around it, it would also show negative space. The picture of the steps i feel shows a strong composition because you're able to see how the steps draw you in and then how the light shines through which makes the picture look more interesting. I feel like the picture of the first power line towards the left shows the best composition because you're able to see how the image comes together and how the clouds peek through and you see the power lines up close and from a far. I feel like the last picture of the power lines is the best example of a black and white properly exposed photo. You are able to see the black and white color scale with different shades of grey but also still having black and white peek throughout the photo.
